🎉 Welcome to the Alpha Tau Centennial Celebration Experience
From Thursday, May 8th through Sunday, May 11th, 2025, Alpha Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. made history—celebrating 100 years of Brotherhood, leadership, and service with a weekend that will be remembered for generations. The City of Akron and the University of Akron became the backdrop for a powerful gathering of Brothers, family, friends, dignitaries, speakers, photographers, musicians, and supporters from near and far.
For a century, Alpha Tau has been a trailblazing force—the first Black Greek-letter organization at the University of Akron, and a pillar of excellence, scholarship, and impact in the community. From mentoring youth and leading service initiatives, to advocating for justice and uplifting culture, Alpha Tau’s story is woven into the very fabric of Akron.
The Centennial weekend overflowed with spirit—live music, meaningful prayer, captivating venues, heartfelt reunions, good food, unforgettable moments, and YOU. It was more than an event. It was a testament to the power of legacy.
